The legal basis of data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).
Handling of personal data
Personal data are the information that can be used to determine a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or phone number. Data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were viewed by someone belong to personal data. Personal data are collected, used and passed on by the provider only if this is permitted by law or if the users consent to the data collection.
Access data / server log files
The provider (or his hosting provider) collects data about every access to the website (so-called server log files). The access data include: name of the retrieved web page, file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, message about successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address and the requesting one provider. The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to retrospectively review the log data if, on the basis of concrete evidence, the legitimate suspicion of unlawful use exists.
Collection and processing using the contact form
When using the contact form, we collect your personal data (name, e-mail address, message text) only in the scope provided by you. The data processing serves the purpose of establishing contact. By submitting your message, you consent to the processing of the transmitted data. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO with your consent. You may revoke your consent at any time by notifying us without affecting the legality of the processing based on the consent to revocation. We only use your e-mail address to process your request. Your data will then be deleted, unless you have consented to further processing and use.
Collection, processing and use of personal data for orders
Comments and posts
When users leave comments or other posts, their IP addresses are saved. This is done for the security of the provider, if someone writes in comments and posts illegal content (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.). In this case, the provider himself may be prosecuted for the comment or contribution and is therefore interested in the identity of the author.
Rights of the data subject
If the legal requirements are met, you are entitled to the following rights pursuant to Art. 15 to 20 DSGVO: right to information, to correction, to deletion, to restriction of processing, to data transferability. Furthermore, Art. 21 (1) DSGVO entitles you to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO and to processing for the purpose of direct advertising. Please contact us if you wish to do so. You will find the contact details in our imprint.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data which we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible person, this will only be done as far as it is technically feasible.
Right to information
You have the right to request confirmation from us as to whether personal data relating to you are being processed, as well as information about such personal data and any other information listed in Art. 15 DSGVO.
Right to deletion (“right to be forgotten”)
You have the right to demand that we delete your personal data immediately if one of the reasons stated in Art. 17 para. 1 DSGVO applies and the processing is not necessary for one of the purposes regulated in Art. 17 para. 3 DSGVO.
Right to withdrawal of consent
If the processing is based on your consent, you have the right to revoke the consent at any time. This does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent until revoked.
Encrypted payment transactions on this website
If, after the conclusion of a fee-based contract, there is an obligation to provide us with your payment details (e.g. account number for direct debit authorization), this data will be required for payment processing. Payment transactions via the usual means of payment (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit) are carried out exclusively via an encrypted SSL or TLS connection. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. With encrypted communication, your payment data, which you transmit to us, cannot be read by third parties.
SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
We endeavour to store your personal data in such a way that they are inaccessible to third parties by using all technical and organisational means at our disposal. When communicating by e-mail, we cannot guarantee complete data security.
Integration of services and contents of third parties
It may happen that contents of third parties, such as videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated within this online offer. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) obtain the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required for the presentation of this content. We make every effort to use only those contents whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the contents. However, we have no influence on whether the third party providers store the IP address for statistical purposes, for example. As far as this is known to us, we inform the users about it.
Use of GoogleMaps
This offer uses the buttons of the Instagram service operated by Facebook, Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Instagram”). The link to Instagram’s privacy statement can be found here: Instagram Privacy Notice.
Revocation, changes, corrections and updates
The user has the right, upon request and free of charge, to obtain information about the personal data stored about him/her. In addition, the user has the right to correction of incorrect data, blocking and deletion of his personal data, unless there is no legal obligation to retain.
Right of appeal to the supervisory authority
Pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO, you have the right to complain to the supervisory authority if in your opinion the processing of your personal data is not lawful.
You’ll find a list of supervisory authorities (for the non-public area) with their respective addresses at: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.
