Plant compositions: Nephrolepis cordifolia “Duffii”, Calathea Makoyana, moss, gravel, soil.
The tiny garden composition inside a terrarium hand-made in Berlin, inside of recycled eco-glass which has a slightly greenish tint and tiny air bubbles within its structure. The capsule is closed with a cork lid.
Each capsule has its own name and personality, this is Blair:)
Blair is the capsule from the berlin black series – minimalistic terrariums, with no white stripes, just black soil and green of the plants.
The queen of composition is dark laty, full of violet shades, Calathea Makoyana. The decorative muster of Calathea has two faces, as she moves her leaves up and down during a day cycle – in the evening the leaves are folded together and in the morning they are unfolded again. It is known under two common names: Peacock Plant and Cathedral Windows, both making a good point.
Lemon button fern perfectly underline her dark shades. Nephrolepis cordifolia “Duffii” is a small fern, with tiny, button-alike leaves. Its foliage characterises by fresh, apple-green color.
